Established since 1995, Edinburgh Preserves was set up by Sandy Herd with a family recipe for Tomato Chutney and a philosophy for making country kitchen style preserves using only the best ingredients. Due to our sharp rise in popularity we have since developed many new recipes to add to the range and now boast a substantial award winning list of Preserves, Chutneys, Pickles, Mustards, Sauces, Jellies, Marmalades, Honeys, Dessert Sauces and Curds. Our ethos is to make these using only the best ingredients and cooking in small batches to maintain the taste of the ingredients and quality of the product.

 To add to this we now also have a fantastic range of gifts where we incorporate our award winning preserves in stories around serving suggestions. We have now also added some other award winning items from other artisan producers such as Biscuits and Puddings from Aberdeenshire to fantastic Curry Sauces from the midlands. 

In 2006 we established Langrove Kitchenware to complement the Edinburgh Preserves range. It is all designed by Charlotte Cadzow (Sandy's wife) who is a well known Scottish Potter. We started with the Honey Bee set and due to its popularity have since added the Ladybird and Strawberry Ranges. Charlotte is busy doing more designs so look out for more great products coming soon! All the Eartheware and Stoneware items are hand painted. 

A Gold medal in the Great Taste Awards is reputedly the highest accolade any food can achieve and here at Edinburgh Preserves we are proud that our range has attracted such an award.
